Just wanted to look

I was interested in seeing what kind of clothing they had, so I went to their official site on line and was greeted by big banner overlays on the site as you scroll down the page you are not able to view any clothing in their inventory. Finally the last part at the bottom of the page is an encouragement to sign up, I would not do it, too many of these on line stores are getting away with this kind of thing, one should not have to commit to anything to be able to browse or window shop to see what that store has that might appeal to you.

Please learn how to use the Internet.

You can view their inventory by going to https://closet.gwynniebee.com and using the tabs at the top of the page to navigate to the type of clothing you're looking for.

Guest

I agree. I would like to see some of their clothes BEFORE I have to sign up to see.

Doesn't seem right. They want your address and card number first.

Heck, I might want the 3 items at a time if I like their clothing. I was gonna sign up with one item at a time just to see their clothes but I think I've changed my mind after reading these reviews.

Ikeem Gpc

i dont understand why you have to put an credit Card. on this When You dont know Anything about this..At least you could see the Clothing..sounds sort of like you are kept in the Dark,,Unreal i work in retail i find it Interesting..yet Amazing they would want your credit Card info and you Cant even See What You Are Going to Get.. Wow........

I signed up for GB and spent 2 hours picking out 30 items for my closet since i kept getting the notification saying i needed more items in my closet before they start processing my shipment. I got in contact with customer service but they didnt help me with my specific issue, they addressed it more towards the general issue other customers have had in the past .

What really upset me though. Was when i signed up for the 30 day free trial and on the 1st day they charged my debit card over 100$ !! Not only that , but hours later i got 4 fraudulent charges from different companys one for 300 and something while the others were randomly in the hundreds. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR CARD INFORMATION.

i cancelled my sub the next day and had to have my bank cancel and reissue a new card .

So much hassle.

Greatful!

I am so glad I check reviews! I do not know what kind of business plan was put forth, but this looks like a great idea gone south.

I would have loved to order clothes for temporary use. I am having weight issues and thought this would be a good thing for me, someone who does not appreciate being a size 14 and who plans to get back to a 10 as quickly as possible. It is bad enough to have dissatisfied customers, but, to then not have good customer service on top of it? Ouch!

Great idea though! Glad I dodged the bullet on his one.

Thanks former customers. I pray you all get your money back!

UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION

My wife signed up for the thirty day trial on August 28th and instead of giving her thirty days and charging her on September 28th, they charged our account 49.00 plus tax. Our account was re-credited but I'm not sure if that was by our bank or Gwynnie Bee.

I'm waiting to find out from our bank. The reason I'm not sure is because that's an account we use for paying bills online and have a strict budget on it. We don't have funds in there to cover that 49.00 plus tax so I received an email last night from our bank that our account was overdrawn. It's been fixed apparently but again, I'm not sure if that's our bank or G.B.

Still though, it's stressful because we want to remain in good standing with our bank for future credit purposes.

And now I'm reading about fraudulent activities. Great!!!

hmmmm.. i am newer to this sub and love it.

The first dress was too large, a few days later i get the 2nd dress. I loved it and bought it. Then a few days later a dress I liked sent back and tomorrow my next dress will arrive.

I am renting one at a time and will be able to wear 5-6 dresses this month. the dresses I am receiving are selling over $100 at Nordstroms I am trying new styles I would have never tried on if I was not using this service

Some of these complaints are rediculous. I wanted to see real reviews.

People please learn how to count! You signed up for a 30-day trial August 28th and there's 30 days in August. They charged you on October 28th.

So 28 days in October plus August 29th and 30th equals 30 days. I wouldn't have refunded anyone.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1223981

Pardon. I meant September not October. Either way it's 30 days.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1223982

Um ok, please learn the calendar! August has 31 days genius! Sorry, but it doesn't look good on someone telling people to learn how to count when they, themselves, can't count nor do they know the months of a year!

Guest

Agreed. These reviews are absurd! The grammar and composition of the complaints is so poor; it's impossible to understand what the person is trying to convey.

Guest

This is because it is a free trial but it clearly states that they will Authoize the card ( make sure you are not using a card you do t have money on, then it falls off or gets reversed. Netflix and many coral ya do that even Redbox when u rent, but it is $1 , if they did not do that people could use empty prepaid cards.Even gas pumps authorize the card then the amount falls off, that is why u say it is fixed cause it is not a charge it was a authorization .

Your wife just did not read the part where it says it will authorize the card . Not saying they are a Great company , but it happened to me too and it is a common practice

Was charge $100.70 and debit from my account, called and state my complaint, they said it was a 30 day free of charge, on my account, and was charge since I didn't cancelled it, I was charge, my bank immediately, gave me a new card with account number, so this will not occur again. I neither received the items, at all. Was promised a full refund in 48 hours. This experience, made me extra precautions about giving information .

Stole bank card Information?

I received a new chip card from my bank and forgot about updating the gwynnie bee account. Needless to say, I did not use any services in about two months, which is when they started sending me emails that I needed to update my card information.

I attempted to call and cancel the service and they told me it would take 30 minutes to receive an email and wouldn't wait until I received it. Turns out that it wasn't cancelled, and somehow Gwynnie Bee got a hold of my new bank card number and charged me two months of service. The only way that I can see this happening is if they called my bank and harassed it out of them.

I also fault the bank for this but am angry that they managed to get a hold of this number without my permission. They are also claiming that I owe them money for an item that was probably lost in the mail and will automatically charge the card number that they illegally acquired.

I cancelled after being double charged and not only am I still being charged the membership fee but they charged me for 2 dresses I sent back the day I received. One charge was for 111.00 and anyone 69.00.

I'm extremely disappointed. I called and spoke with a rep.

she has been kind however, I'm waiting on a return call from a supervisor. If this doesn't get settled, I guess I will contact my bank and call BBB.

I have received email after email saying to leave their "coupon" practices alone but I'm going to make sure other people know how deceitful they are.

Original review Apr 17, 2016
I have been a loyal going to be customer since September 2013!! I received a coupon the other day for take an EXTRA 35% off at home clothes ( see photo ).

I was excited to purchase a pair of jeans that I have had since February. When I received these in February they were $91.50, that is the discounted at-home price. After I attempted to use the coupon the price remained at $91.50. I contacted going to b after I attempted to use the coupon the price remained at $91.50.

I contacted Gwynnie Bee about this error and asked them to fix it, they emailed me back and told me that that it was corrected.

I then attempted to use the coupon again and the price was $90.50 (see photo). I am disgusted that sent out coupons so people think that they're getting an actual discount, but if they're not paying attention they won't realize that they're actually not saving anything above the "at home" price

Scam! Visit this site or you will be charged!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I visited this site once, I never even subscribed to become a member or signed up for the email list, yet I was billed three times for a charge of over $80 for being a "member"! I emailed the company and never heard back.

I called and the customer service representative did not seem the least bit surprised at my complaint, nor did she apologize for the over $250 in fraudulent charges! Be very careful if you are even so much as visit this site, check your credit card statements because you'll likely have been billed regardless of a subscription or not!

This is by far one of the worst experiences I have encountered with an online company. I would strongly recommend steering clear of Gwynnie Bee....................

Can you say how you know they are being investigated? I think it's terrible that they are making it difficult to let you out of your subscription.

Guest

If you never signed up as a member, how did they get your credit card information?

Guest

I never even visited the site and they have stolen over $300 from my paypal acct. I'm not even plus size.

They are hackers. Any positive comments are from paid for review sites designed to deceive.

There are hundreds of complaints of this company taking money from victims that have never done business with them. They are under investigation for fraud by at least two institutions at this time.
